Emily Henry nigdy nie rozczarowuje! Każda jej książka jest przemyślana i widać, że poświęca jej dużo czasu i uwagi, a Funny Story jest równie niesamowita co poprzednie książki autorki!
Daphne i Miles zostają współlokatorami po tym, jak ich partnerzy postanowili zostawić Daphne i Milesa dla siebie nawzajem! Daphne straciła dom, znajomych i idealnego narzeczonego, a jedyne co jej zostało to odliczanie dni do momentu, kiedy będzie mogła się wyprowadzić z miasta, w którym złamano jej serce. Miles jest zdeterminowany, aby pokazać jej, że Waning Buy może być przepiękne nawet bez jej narzeczonego.
Funny Story jest niesamowitą historią miłosną o tym, jak można znaleźć szczęście nawet w najgorszym momencie swojego życia. Mimo, że Daphne i Miles są zupełni różni to są przykładem na to, że przeciwieństwa się przyciągają! Ich chemia od początku książki po prostu powala z nóg, a ich przygody podczas zwiedzania miasta za każdym razem powodowały wielki uśmiech na mojej twarzy! Dodatkowo, Daphne jest bibliotekarką, co sprawia, że moje małe serce się raduje. Miles jest absolutnie fantastyczny – za każdym razem jak robił coś uroczego to się uśmiechałam do książki. Potrzebuję takiego faceta w swoim życiu!
Co więcej, postacie drugoplanowe są równie niesamowite co główne postacie! Uwielbiam przyjaźń pomiędzy Daphne a Ashleigh – to tylko pokazuje, że przyjaciół można znaleźć na każdym etapie życia. A Julia, siostra Miles, jest chaotyczna i przezabawna!

Emily Henry never disappoints! Every one of her books is well-written and you can see that she puts a lot of time and attention into it, and Funny Story is just as amazing as the author’s previous books!
Daphne and Miles become roommates after their partners leave Daphne and Miles for each other! Daphne has lost her home, her friends and her perfect fiancé, and all she has left is counting down the days until she can move out of the city where her heart was broken. Miles is determined to show her that Waning Buy can be beautiful even without her fiancé.
Funny Story is an amazing love story about how you can find happiness even at the worst time of your life. Although Daphne and Miles are completely different they are an example that opposites attract! Their chemistry from the beginning of the book simply knocks you off your feet, and their adventures while exploring the city made me smile! Plus, Daphne is a librarian, which makes my little heart rejoice. Miles is absolutely fantastic – every time he did something cute it made me smile at the book. I need a guy like him in my life!
And, the supporting characters are just as amazing as the main characters! I love the friendship between Daphne and Ashleigh – it just goes to show that friends can be found at any stage of life. And Julia, Miles’ sister, is chaotic and hilarious!
I definitely recommend it!
