synopsis

I absolutely loved the vibe of this book! I loved the magical academy setting, in which the descendants of gods develop their powers. The whole magic system was amazing, especially the death powers. Zoe, who discovers she is a banshee, even though her entire life she thought she would be a healer, is definitely one of my favourite recent female heroines. I loved her independence and her ability to deal with all of her problems. Her relationship with Dylan is simply amazing! The only downside of this book was how predictable it was – the plot was quite obvious.
However, I still definitely recommend this book! It’s a very fast read!

Zacznijmy od tego, że mega mi się podobał vibe tej książki z magiczną akademią, w której potomkowie bogów rozwijają swoje moce. Cały system magii był niesamowity, a zwłaszcza moce związane ze śmiercią. Zoey, która odkrywa swoją moc jako banshee, mimo że całe życie myślała, że otrzyma moc uzdrawiania, jest zdecydowania moją ulubioną główną bohaterką o jakiej ostatnio czytałam! Bardzo podoba mi się jej niezależność i jej umiejętność radzenia sobie ze swoimi problemami, a jej relacja z Dylanem jest po prostu wspaniała! Jedynym minusem tej książki jest jej przewidywalność – fabuła była trochę oczywista.
Jednak mimo przewidywalności, bardzo polecam tą książkę! Bardzo szybko się ją czyta!
