Idealna książka dla fanów Taylor Swift!
Taylor-Verse przedstawia całą muzyczną historię Taylor od jej debiutanckiego albumu Taylor Swift aż po Midnights.
Autorka przedstawia każdy album po kolei, wyjaśniając jakie emocje kierowały Talyor przy pisaniu i nagrywaniu albumu, a dodatkowo przedstawia tzw. Easter Eggs ukryte w tekstach piosenek. Z tej książki dowiecie się jakie metafory powtarzają się w piosenkach na przestrzeni wielu lat, ale
również jak zdeterminowana była Taylor aby osiągnąć suckes!
Mimo, że dowiedziałam się bardzo dużo o Taylor, nie jest to książka dla początkujących fanów. Dużo jest przeskakiwania pomiędzy tekstami piosenek z różnych albumów i aluzji, których zwykły fan może nie znać. Dodatkowo, styl pisania wydawał mi się bardzo chaotyczny.
Jednak nadal zachęcam do sięgnięcia po Taylor-Verse, zwłaszcza jeśli wybierasz się na koncert! A oprawa książki jest po prostu przecudowna – w środku znajdziesz wspaniałe rysunki Talyor dopasowane do każdego albumu, a barwione brzegi wspaniale oddają vibe Taylor!

I found a perfect book for Taylor Swift fans!
Into the Taylor-Verse shows Taylor’s entire music history from her debut album Taylor Swift to Midnights.
The author of the book presents each album one by one, explaining what emotions drove Talyor while writing and recording the album, and additionally explains the so-called Easter Eggs hidden in the song lyrics. From this book you will learn what metaphors are repeated in the songs over the years, but also how determined Taylor was to achieve succes!
Although I learned a great deal about Taylor, this is not a book for novice fans. There’s a lot of jumping between song lyrics from different albums and allusions that the casual fan may not know or understand. Additionally, the writing style seemed very chaotic to me.
However, I still encourage you to reach for Taylor-Verse, And the book’s binding is simply over-the-top gorgeous – inside you’ll find Talyor’s gorgeous drawings matching each album, and the stained edges wonderfully capture Taylor’s vibe!
