Evelyn i Beckett przeżyli razem jedną noc podczas weekendu w Maine, jednak pół roku później żadne z nich nie jest w stanie zapomnieć tej nocy. Ich drogi ponownie się krzyżują, gdy Evelyn pojawia się na farmie, na której Beckett pracuje, w ramach konkursu w mediach społecznościowych. Oboje próbują ukryć swoje uczucia przez drugą osobą. W końcu Evelyn ponownie opuszcza Becketta, ale wkrótce zdaje sobie sprawę, że jest nieszczęśliwa. A ostatnie miejsce, w którym czuła się szczęśliwa? Lovelight Farms, czyli farma Becketta.
Świat Lovelight Farms był czarujący! Uwielbiałam farmę drzew, kwiaty, domki i cały klimat tej książki – czy ktoś może mi powiedzieć, jak mogę się tam przeprowadzić? I gdzie mogę dostać ciastka Layli? Związek Evelyn i Becketta był taki uroczy. Cieszę się, że mogliśmy poznać tą historię zarówno z punktu widzenia Evelyn, jak i Becketta, gdyż mogliśmy zobaczyć ich emocje i myśli. Uwielbiałam klimat małego miasteczka i przytulnej farmy. Wszystko w tej książce było jak ciepły uścisk. Przynajmniej do ostatnich 35%, kiedy związek pomiędzy głównymi bohaterami zaczął się psuć i pojawiło się nieporozumienie. To było naprawdę niepotrzebne i całkowicie nieuzasadnione.
Pomimo tego, że jestem niezadowolona z zakończenia, Lovelight Farms nadal mi się podobało. Ta książka naprawdę była jak ciepły uścisk, i jest idealne na niedzielne popołudnie!

Evelyn and Beckett had a one-night stand during a weekend in Maine, and neither has been able to forget that night for over six months. When their paths cross again when Evelyn appears on a farm Beckett works on for a social media contest, they are both confused about their feelings. Evelyn leaves Beckett once again, but she soon realises that she is unhappy. And the last place she felt happy? Beckett’s Lovelight Farms.
The setting of Lovelight Farms was absolutely adorable! I loved the tree farm, the flowers, the cottages and the entire vibe of this book – can someone please tell me how I can move there? And where can I get Layla’s pastries? Evelyn and Beckett’s relationship was so cute. I’m happy there was a dual POV, and we saw their emotions and thoughts. I loved the small-town vibe and the cosy farm. Everything about this book felt like a warm hug. At least until the last 35% when the third-act break-up started happening. It was really unnecessary, and totally unreasonable. Honestly, the introduction of miscommunication between Evelyn and Beckett at the end of the book was really pointless.
Even though I’m dissatisfied with the ending, I still enjoyed Lovelight Farms. It really was a warm hug, and the cosy vibes are perfect for a Sunday afternoon!
